Due to the ongoing Hollywood writers' strike, there is a possibility that the 75th Emmy Awards ceremony, originally scheduled for September 18, may face a delay.

On Wednesday, the nominations for the 2023 Emmy Awards were unveiled, showcasing the remarkable achievement of "Succession" with an impressive 27 nods for its final season. This further cements HBO's position as the network to surpass, as it also garnered nominations for acclaimed series like "The White Lotus," "The Last of Us," and "House of the Dragon."

Nominees for the best comedy category at the 75th Emmy Awards include "Abbott Elementary," "The Bear," "Ted Lasso," and "Wednesday." Notably, the late-night category is set to crown a new winner after a continuous reign of the previous champion for the past seven years.

As of now, the 75th Emmy Awards telecast is planned to air on September 18 at 8 p.m. Eastern on Fox. However, in light of the ongoing Hollywood writers' strike, there is a possibility that the ceremony might be postponed. Stay tuned for updates on the full list of nominees, as announcements are made.
